Hey, Mari.  I must have missed your post a while back.  Thanks for the heads up.  I have had this marked in my calendar and have been looking forward to it since I heard the news.  Only a few weeks away now!

Paintings by George Washington Carver are on display at the Field Museum in Chicago right now. I knew that he made paints & pigments, but I did not realize that he actually first went to school to be an artist.
